Combined O2 Absorber with CO2 Generator

ATCO IL Oxygen Absorber and CO2 Generator eliminate pack oxygen and generate CO2 to compensate for the volume of oxygen absorbed. This is particularly suitable for rigid or semi rigid packs, where pack collapse (caused by O2 absorption) is undesirable, and the generated CO2 compensates the pack volume that is lost due to the oxygen absorption.

Sachet capacities to absorb oxygen range from 30ml to 1000ml. CO2 is generated as a result of oxygen absorption

Oxygen reduced from 20.94% to less than 0.1% throughout the shelf life of the product

Carbon dioxide released by ATCO IL sachets acts as an inhibitor of spoilage flora in the same manner as carbon dioxide added in modified atmosphere packaging

Absorbs oxygen that continues to permeate through the packaging throughout the shelf life of the product

Contains only food grade materials and meets EU legislation for direct food contact

ATCO® IL are not based on iron (like typical O2 absorbers) and can be used seamlessly with factory metal detection systems

Product information

ATCO oxygen absorbers extend product life and maintain first day freshness throughout the shelf life. All the components are fully traceable, food grade materials and ATCO's Oxygen absorbers have been favourably assessed by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) and approved for direct food contact. The absorbers are manufactured in a ISO9002 factory in Northern France, with low MOQ and short lead times, products are available for rapid delivery.
