TPC Desktop DGV (De-Gassing Valve)

Originally designed for the coffee industry this de-gassing valve tester measures the pressure required to actuate (open) a degassing valve that are most commonly used in coffee & pet food packaging.

The instrument can be supplied with a custom manifold or chambers to measure the valve directly or you can measure the finished pack via a needle and septa (the sealed pack can be tested with and without the valve sealed in the packaging). With multiple manifolds/chambers for multiple valves to suit all valve types and manufacturers, the unit works for both small and large scale production lines.

LEAK & BURST detection can be added to the instrument as well as an integrated gas analyser for O2 + CO2. This type of instrument (with a customised manifold) can also be used as an instant porosity tester for materials with high porosity such as non woven's, selectively permeable materials and textiles.
